Gross and fine motor skills are connected. Gross motor skills encompass the large movements of the body, and fine motor skills require precise movements of small muscles. For example, if a child does not have core strength (gross motor), they will struggle with writing (fine motor). Participants will examine the ins and outs of motor skill development using hands-on learning techniques.
