What should I know before I register for a workshop?

The workshop is designed for participants to form a sense of community. This can only happen when attendees are open to sharing their experiences, reflections, and ideas.

Many organizations provide professional development for early childhood educators. Suppose you are seeking professional development only to obtain a certificate for credit hours. In that case, this workshop may not be the right fit.

Workshop attendees are asked to be active participants throughout the entire session. This involves having your camera on for at least part of the session, taking an active role in small group conversations, and being fully present during the entire session.

  • No refunds, credits, or exchanges are provided.

  • Workshops are taught in a live virtual format in eastern standard time and are not recorded.

  • Participants need to type their name into the Zoom Chat upon entering the workshop session. They will not be marked as attending if their name is not typed into the Zoom chat. There are no exceptions to this policy.

  • Each person needs to participate fully in the entire workshop session to earn their workshop certificate.

  • Participants will receive an email the day before the workshop session containing the Zoom link. This link is only for registered participants; they may not share it with anyone else.

  • Each person participating (viewing) the workshop needs to purchase a ticket. The ticket fee gives the participant access to the information provided during the session by the workshop facilitator. While a participant can earn a workshop certificate the registration fee is not a payment for a certificate.
